Quality Analysis / Thermometry

Quality Analysis / Thermometry

Samples are taken throughout the mass of the well-lotified bulk, at 1.2 and 3 metres, and if possible at a depth of 4 and 5 metres, to verify the physical quality of the grain and its health.

Likewise, temperature readings are taken at 1, 2, 3 and even 4, 5 meters deep if possible, throughout the bulk mass, to verify the temperature of the grain, since it is a determining factor in their conservation. Sampling equipment, depth probe (bullet) and temperature measurement (potentiometer)

Our Sampling and Thermometry service is requested by large grain trading companies to evaluate the productions they offer before purchasing them and thus determine the best options for quality and characteristics of the grain.

By means of samples obtained at 1, 2 and 3 meters, we verify that the grain has the quality required by the client and that it has the appropriate temperatures so that it can be determined if it is viable to acquire the grain. In this way, we anticipate any possible damage or impurities in the product.

We record the measurements accurately, always waiting for you to comply with the established standard, where we take the marked temperature ranges as a reference to give you advice to help you make the best decision. Everything is presented to you in writing and in a completely clear and precise manner.

Sampling is carried out in warehouses, silos, hoppers, trucks, etc., for physical analysis of the grain and, at the request of the client, for sending samples to a chemical laboratory for the determination of aflatoxins and acidity. The general thermometry of the bulk at different depths helps us to make the right recommendations for action plans and good conservation of the grain.
